Hello, hello! Happy Sunday! Today’s post is going to be a roundup of my top 5 Favorite Concealers. So if you are on the hunt for a new concealer or are interested in trying something new, keep on reading!
The Ultimate Eye Primer
This concealer is so good! It comes in 43 shades (but that includes color correctors and a champagne shade), and it is super affordable. I’ve used this under my eyes and it works great there too, but I found that I love using it as my eyeshadow primer. It covers up all the redness and veins on my eye AND gives me a nice clean slate to work with. The applicator tip is a brush and you just squeeze the tube until the product reaches the top, which for some reason I find really fun. It feels like I’m painting when I use it on my eyes.
The Blemish Hero
So, this lil guy is one that I LOVE using to cover up any acne that I may have. The shade range is rather limited (only 6 shades) but if you can find one that matches your skin tone, I suggest grabbing one! The consistency is on the thinner side, so it doesn’t cake up on my blemishes. It always blends in really nicely with my foundation and it just adds a little bit of extra coverage in the areas that need I it.
The Undereye Brightener
I’ve talked about this bad boy before, so I won’t go in to too much detail about it. This concealer is AMAZEBALLS. The only downfall, I would say, is the way you get the product out. You are supposed to twist it and product is supposed to saturate the ball at the top, but my twist part isn’t working properly, so my ball is heavily saturated (haha that’s what she said). But man this stuff is good. There is a shade called “brightener” if you want extra brightness, but I find that it is brightening all on it’s own. This comes in 12 shades and if you want to read more about my thoughts on this concealer, then check out my holy grail makeup post!
I’m sure I don’t have to go into too much detail about how amazing this concealer is. I call this lil guy the “2-in-1” because it is great to use as a foundation too. Since it has a thicker consistency and it is full coverage, it really mimics the look and feel of foundation. I can’t use this concealer in the winter time because it is too drying for me, but in the summer this baby is awesome! It comes in 21 shades and a little goes a longggggg way, so be careful with this one!
The ‘No Makeup’ Makeup One
I like to call this one the “no makeup” makeup one because it has a nice thin consistency and is great to use if you just want to cover up your undereyes and maybe spot conceal some blemishes. This concealer can obviously be used on top of foundation, but I tend to turn to this concealer if I need to just quickly cover up my undereyes and head out the door. There are 12 shades to choose from and the finish on this concealer is natural.
Now it is your turn! What are some of your favorite concealers??
